Downloadable Demo Version of Model Bridge Software



The demo version of Model Bridge contains most of the features of a registered copy Model Bridge. Missing features include "Save Bridge", "Import/Export" and a limitation on the number of members.

Click here to begin the download. Depending on the browser you are using, you may need to confirm that you want to save/download the file mbdemo.exe

Once you have downloaded the file mbdemo.exe, you will need to uncompress the file by typing mbdemo at a DOS prompt. Be sure that you are in the directory where you placed the downloaded file.

Installation instructions:

1a From the Windows File Menu, select Run [Windows 3.1 users]
1b Left click on Start, Run, and then Browse [Windows 95 users]
2a Type [directory containing uncompressed files]\install.exe [Windows 3.1 users]
2b Double click on [directory containing uncompressed files]\install.exe [Windows 95 users]
3. Type in a name for your computer in the box labelled "Machine Name".
4. Type in the directory where you would like the Model Bridge program to be stored.
Be sure that you type the complete directory (e.g. "c:\bridge")
Make sure that it is a different directory from the one containing the uncompressed files.
5. Click on an available license from the list of available licenses.
6. Click the install button and wait for files to be transferred.
7. Click on the Done button to close the installation window.

To run Model Bridge, choose Login from the File Menu. Select the "system user" and type in "change" as the password.
